21st International Christmas Bazaar of the Association “Friends of the Child”


The established International Christmas Bazaar of the Charity Association “Friends of the Child”, takes place for the 21st year on December 4 and 5, 2021, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, at the Old OSY Depot. in Kerameikos. The proceeds of the bazaar will be used for the operation of the kindergarten and the collocated kindergarten, in Metaxourgeio and to support the work of the association.

One more time, with the invaluable participation of numerous embassies, the Association organizes a happy world celebration with flavors, music, customs and traditions from all over the horizon. In a Christmas decorated area, customers can go shopping Homemade sweets, Christmas decorations, clothing, books, toys and unique gifts.

“The child’s friends”

Association “The child’s friends” founded in 1987 in Attica. It is non-profit and is governed by a twenty-member board of directors. Its head office is located at 15 Stisichorou Street in central Athens.

The main purpose of the Association is to support children from needy families (single-parent or not) in socio-economic or family difficulty until adulthood. Their basic needs are covered by free monthly benefits, such as medical supplies, medical examinations, food, bills, rent, school fees, entertainment, etc. Priority is given to uninsured children with serious health problems.

To date, he has offered his assistance to more than 14,625 children and 6,300 families.

In 2007, the Association founded it Kindergarten, located at Kalypsous 8, Kerameikos and, in 2021, at the same place, Kindergarten.
Its financial resources come exclusively from membership fees, donations, in-kind sponsorship and income from entertainment events. It is not subsidized by the state.
