Newtown South High School Parent Teacher Student Organization: PTSO Weekly Bulletin October 10, 2021
South Stage Parents: New Information on Parents’ Night and Family Announcements
Together with Mr. Knoedler, we’ll be hosting an evening for new parents and guardians to learn all about South Stage! Join us on Tuesday October 12 at 7 p.m. in the theater hall, room 9141. Masks compulsory.
Tickets for our first production of the year, The three Musketeers, will go on sale Monday, October 11. Seats will be reserved only. Please visit southstage.org for information on purchasing tickets.
In the meantime, don’t hesitate any longer and place your family announcements! The the deadline for Musketeers announcements is Friday October 15. Frosh parents, you can also get a jump on your ads and submit them now – just make sure you choose the right show when filling out the form. Please use the link below to place an online ad order or download the Family & Friends ad form. You can also see sample ads and pay via Paypal:
Congratulate your favorite member of the company, or even the entire cast and team, with a special message of support. Add a cute baby or child photo! You can create your own ad and send it in JPG or PDF format, or you can send us your message and digital image, and we will design it for you.
Additional donations:
Please consider donating in addition to (or instead of) placing an ad. All donations are tax deductible, and your generosity will be recognized by an entry into each South Stage Playbill for one calendar year.
South Stage does not receive a school production budget other than modest stipends for adult directors. While ticket sales typically cover production costs, we rely heavily on funds raised through Playbill announcements and donations to maintain and improve costume, construction, lighting and sound equipment.
Our first meeting of the SSPG Board of Directors will take place on Monday October 25 at 7 p.m., location to be determined. All are welcome to join us to learn more about volunteer opportunities throughout the year. We hope to see you then!
As always, all the latest information can be found on southstage.org, or by following @SouthStage on Instagram or Facebook. Please contact us if we can answer your questions.
Thank you for all your support!
