Usher’s Las Vegas residence just got a whole lot more exciting with the launch of a new immersive VIP experience at Caesar’s Palace. The ‘Ushh Backstory Pass’ offering builds on the singer’s long-standing partnership with Remy Martin and gives guests a deeper insight into Usher’s personal and musical history while celebrating the timelessness of the brand. cognac.

“The immersive experience is really a look in my Usher mind,” ESSENCE tells exclusively. “It’s a source in history that is my creativity, the things that not only inspired me but also created me.”

Upon arrival, guests are greeted with the classic Sidecar cocktail and encouraged to explore different rooms that offer a glimpse into Usher’s mind, from a Speakeasy where the artists spin the Confession the artist’s biggest hits to an ’80s breakdance scene and even a strip club marking the Atlanta culture Usher was raised in.

“It’s really choosing your own adventure where there are a lot of different venues and a lot of different actors playing a role,” explains Tina Reejsinghani, VP Marketing at Rémy Martin, USA. “So many of these pieces have had a significant impact on his life, whether it be a wardrobe style piece, because we know style is extremely important to him. Or a riff from a club in LA that was significant in his experience growing up. There is a room dedicated to a mother figure, which obviously revolves around her relationship with her mother. But then there is also this clandestine bar from the film, which is about what we created with him, this Film Teaming up for excellence, and how cognac and music came together from the 1920s to today.

While Usher’s life is at the center of “Backstory Pass,” it is not an entirely selfish endeavor. The experience’s association with Remy Martin created jobs for artists of color in Las Vegas who might not have had such opportunities otherwise, Usher explains.

“The majority of our staff, being a minority staff, they weren’t necessarily part of a guild here in Las Vegas, so that was another addition to the fact that we were putting in place something that had never been done. here, which was an immersive theatrical experience. Working with actors that maybe weren’t necessarily part of the union, it was great for me that there was a purpose in addition to what we do. my story, we literally use talent that should be officially recognized and seen in Las Vegas.
